The following day I was attacked on my route by three hooligans. I placed a police
report and was ordered to continue my route. I beleive the words were “Man, we have
no one to cover for you. If you go home we may have to rethink your employment with
us.” During the rest of that day I just wanted to go home. I attempted a delivery
and accidently scanned it as delivered, but placed a delivery attempt door tag. A
few hours later, I gotten a phone call and was asked about the delivery. I just
wanted to go home. My right eye was swollen, my nose had dried blood, and my ribs
was killing me. So I told him no, I didn’t have it and at the time I thought I
didn’t. When I went to the next stop I seen it and called the base and told them
that I had it and was going to attempt the delivery. So the station manager accused
me of stealing and the bastard called the cops and demaned my job. The cops waited
for me at the womans house and I explained the situation. So the officers scolded
the station manager and told me to go home. When I returned to work the next day. I
once again went into the office. Scolded for having 11 non deliver packages and was
told that I was on a very thin line.

Ever since then I was basically harassed every day. I gotten a complaint that I
didn’t knock the door hard enough so I was forced to watch a 20min video. Then I
gotten a complaint for knocking too hard and I was scolded by the station managers
earlier that day then by my supervisors a few hours later. I gotten yelled at for
attempting a package to a business that don’t open until 12pm. So I was ordered that
no matter where I am, I have to drop everything and deliver the package. Yet when I
do that I get yelled at about falling behind. I think I hit my mark last week.

I attempted a delivery to a man who wasn’t home, so I placed a doortag and thought
that was it. The following day this elderly gentleman who was around 70 strolls in
and screamed his pants off, claiming that he was home all day and I never showed up.
I told my station mananger that I have done three deliveries in that very same
building that day, and he wasn’t home. So they punched up my delivery sheet. First
they asked me why I did a delivery @ 1:26 pm and drove three blocks, went up 15
floors and attempted a delivery @ 1:27. I told him that I did not realize that I
didn’t close out the last stop until I gotten to the following stop. So I was called
a liar to my face. I told him don’t call me a liar and I was there. They say
computers don’t lie and it shows that I never went to his apartment, yet how was I
able to deliver three other stops in that same building. (If I was never there) So
they said that I never gave the man enough time so my supervisor lost his $400
monthly bonus. So my supervisor charged me $100 for loosing his bonus and was told
that I am one of the top three worse drivers in the Syracuse region. Worse driver? I
never gotten a ticket in 10 years. In DHL I have gotten best customer service award
for 5 years in a row. Heck in FedEx I have gotten Subcontractor if the month twice.
Yet I am one of the worse drivers in the region.

Well a few weeks ago they come up to me and say I am going to start one hour and a half  later, because they want to reduce on road hours.. Soooooo I would be starting at 1:30 pm instead of  my normal 12 pm, then they say I can stay late to park trucks to make up the hours so that now means I will be home at 10 pm at night..

So I ask where are my first half pickups going to ?  they say they will be given to the Delivery drivers in my area.. OK but that means they will be getting their 8 hours and some overtime and they have less seniority than me.. And you are keeping them out there longer so where is the reduction of on road hours.. Not to mention you are starting a part timer that has been on the job a lil over a year and giving them  my work too.. Sooooooo what the fuck . I say I am going to open door it to Memphis I have the seniority so the work should go to me and the parties that be can get off the road earlier and come in later to do the sort and park trucks..

And the Part timer can start later like the others, so after a few days of my manager trying to talk me out of it and kissing my ass I open door it. and after a week I got my response and I got every excuse in the world that they were justified and If I wanted to pursue it more I can call my HR rep in Memphis..

The phone number they gave me was not in service anymore

Oh and my manager makes me stay untill 9:30 10:00 pm to park trucks, they dont wanna just give me my guaranteed  7 and a half hours they force me to work for it

I have mentioned this before in a few posts..

What the Open Door Policy does is, It gives the employees a chance to bring a concern to the powers at be in Memphis.. Now you have to find this out on your own.. You see the managers will never tell you, and in my station they hang the policy up on the checkin wall for one day during the annual audit then they take it down..

I asked a employee of 5 years yesterday what is the open door policy he said its when you go to your manager and express your concerns and they always have their door open to you.. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA  whew wait a sec HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHA..

OK  Im done sorry everybody , that is what the mangers tell you the poor boy has been gettin messed with and never knew he can take his concerns elsewhere..

But the open door only works 5% of the time.. I am the king of the open door as a matter of fact I have to do one today for the bullshit they are TRYING to do ( More on that later tho)

You see Memphis is tainted by manager input, and they believe  Managers more than us.. But sometimes they realize their Mangers fucked up bad like in a few cases with me.. They will never admit it send you a nice reply, but whatever you open doored gets changed in a few weeks.. Hummmmmm oh really so you sent me a reply that management was in the right but it gets changed with some excuse later one Yea Yea Right Thats The Ticket LOL

I even had an Open Door not make it to Memphis..

See the Open Door goes to the Director of the region and Memphis at the same time but the Director sees it first, I have talked to a few other that said their never made it too..

Alot of times the Director knows what they are doing, but he wants his bonus too and you can imagine what his is, so usually the managers will try and talk you out of it.. they say ” Well its only temporary” or ” Whats the big deal its not going to last long”

Motherfucker the big deal is your screwing me to either..

1. Get your monthly bonus- and we get less hours-Less Pay-and no bonus

2. Take care of another courier that is in your little click or he/she is fucking a manager that you know or work with

3. Having a courier with less seniority and less pay do my job and make more hours than me and a Part Timer at Fucking that

Christ the list goes on ..

Just another day working at FedEx.. They Keep you stupid to achieve their goals but once you get smart its a target on your back

Fuckem at over 200 pounds I always been a big target anyways lol
